About Mycuppatea

Who is the team behind Mycuppatea?

Mycuppatea comes from the duo who founded bRainbow, the handcrafted brand of cute and quirky design products. Just like their brands, they are just a little left of centre.

Orrr has extensive experience within the advertising industry. He’s the man in charge of finding your new favourite things. Energetic and curious, he looks after all things creative at Mycuppatea. He has a keen eye and a passion for exploration. Travelling, flea markets and vintage toys inspire him, as well as cycling (or simply searching out good looking bicycles), and other quirky stuff.

Akiko is the other half of Mycuppatea. She’s the brains of the operation, looking after marketing, accounts, shipping and more. A journalist for a financial newspaper until she became a mum of two, she’s a talented taskmaster with a love of travel, good books, and fine food. She counts a good cup of coffee in the morning as one of life’s necessities.

We invest extensive amounts of time in sourcing our products, focusing on innovative and quirky yet functional design. We want to find the right products for you. We only say yes to items that tick all boxes.

I have a great product! Can I send it to you?
If you’re a supplier with a product, please send us an email with all your details to hello@mycuppatea.com.au. Or, if you have any suggestions for new products, we’d love to hear from you.

Gift-Wrapping

We offer complimentary gift-wrapping. Your item will be wrapped in brown paper free of charge. In addition to this, we offer a range of premium gift-wrapping options from $4 to celebrate your special occasions. Please add gift-wrapping to your cart and select your wrapping paper.

If you would like to include a personal message with your purchase, please email us at hello@mycuppatea.com.au or if you make a payment via PayPal, please add notes when you checkout.

Payments

We accept EFTPOS and credit card payments through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to make a payment. If you are having any problems checking out, we can send you a PayPal invoice. Please contact us at hello@mycuppatea.com.au

PLEASE NOTE: Mycuppatea is not responsible for customs and duty fees.

Order

When will I receive my order?
Shipping times are dependent on destination and delivery options. Please see our shipping page for more information.

I like a product but it’s out of stock. When will it be available again?
Please contact us at hello@mycuppatea.com.au and we will let you know the earliest time we can ship.

I haven’t received my order yet.
Sometimes delays may occur, especially during busy periods such as Christmas. In these cases, we appreciate your patience. We will not re-send or refund orders based on delivery delays.

Do you have an actual store?
No. Mycuppatea is an online boutique store only at this moment.

Return / Exchange

Refunds will only be provided in the event that your item is damaged and cannot be replaced. If your items are damaged during transit, please email us at hello@mycuppatea.com.au within 3 days of delivery. We will contact you as a priority to resolve this.

In the event that you change your mind about a purchase, we do not offer refunds. We do, however, provide an exchange for items purchased within 10 days of delivery. Please email us first, before returning your item.

Items must be returned in their original condition (100% new with tag) with all original packaging. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the customer, including the charges for delivering the product that you would like to exchange your purchase with.

We recommend that you return the product by Registered Post. Mycuppatea will not be responsible for parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.

The items that are exchanged must be greater than or equal to the value of the original item purchased.

Items returned for exchange that have been damaged or altered from their original condition will be returned to the customer and no exchange will be given. This is at the discretion of Mycuppatea.

There is no exchange or return on sale items.
